The results of the 2011 National Senior Certificate were released on Thursday the 5th of January 2012. Once again,the Crawford candidates did us proud!
539 Crawford candidates wrote the examination and a total of 1 824 distinctions was achieved with an average of 3.384 distinctions per candidate.
Crawford College Sandton received the award for the Top Independent School in the National Senior Certificate in Gauteng and Benjamin Levin (Crawford College Sandton) received special recognition for achieving 12 distinctions.
Kaitlin Cunningham from Crawford College Lonehill received the award for the Top Female Student in Gauteng.
In addition, the following astounding results were achieved:
- 1 student achieved 12 distinctions
- 1 student achieved 10 distinctions
- 16 students achieved 9 distinctions
- 23 students achieved 8 distinctions
- 34 students achieved 7 distinctions
This translates to 75 full houses!
