Crawford Grade 7s become College Students for the Day
There was much excitement when the Crawford North Coast Grade 7s spent the day shadowing their Grade 8 “Twin” and experienced what it is like to be a College student. Students enjoyed visiting the newly refurbished computer labs where they learnt to run a business in Economic Management Sciences. They also learnt to make slides in the biology labs and watched scientific experiments. The highlight of the day for many students was when then they chose from a variety of options to participate in a dance class, which has been introduced as an optional subject at the College this year. The day ended with a Mathematics Challenge where both grades collaborated enthusiastically in a team-based competition to solve various problems devised by the mathematics department.
